I don't know why we always seem to pick him in the team instead of players like Riewoldt, Connors and Edwards to just name a few.

Thoughts?

- Hes got a stronger body than the other 3, we lack that.
- He can kick the ball 50 metres, we lack that.

Had a blinder for Coburg! 4 goals 25 great disposals! Was better than those you mentioned. They shouldn't be able to come in straight away. Quite frankly I don't mind if Riewoldt spends the season for the burgers. He's only 19!

I didn't think Tivendale has been named for tommorows clash, I know he is in the extended team but not the actual 22?

He deserved to be named ahead of Connors and Edwards, they didn't have great games, can't reward mediocrity.

From what I have seen it is White, Riewoldt, Morton and McGuane in.

I am all up for playing the kids over players that are almost finished, but credit where it is due, Tivs has played a better brand of footy this year than he usually does, and with that he deserves to keep his spot.

Nice to say we should be going for youth and that guys like Tivendale are rubbish, but if our kids can't out-perform him at Coburg level then they're not doing enough to get picked.

I dunno why people expect so much from him. He is consistant, coming off his two best ever seasons in 06 and 07. Remember he was a rookie list player back in 97, he has done extremely well for himself and deserves the 200 game milestone.
