I've decided to head down to the oval this morning to update my portfolio of shots. If your down there and see me walking along the sidelines with my camera, say hello! I'm quite interested in talking to a couple of the players: Setanta and Bower. BUT I'll keep right away from Nick Stevens..... :o:o

Morning Session - Players involved:

- Anderson
- Armfeild
- Bentick
- Bower
- Browne
- Gibbs
- Hadley
- Hampson
- Hoops
- Johnson
- Kruze
- Scotland
- Thornton
- Walker
- Wiggins
- Yarran

Walker is extremely ready to play AFL level. He was teaching the children how to kick bananas from the boundary line. He kicked everyone of them through the middle. Looking brilliant and I can’t wait until he is back into the side. He told me that he is dying to get back on the football field and play. I highly think that he is ready for VFL next week and maybe seniors the week after.

Bower was sitting down talking to the children. He was very heavily iced on his leg and looks very sore. We are going to miss watching him for around 2 weeks. Still had a smile on his face.

Thornton was looking very happy and was also taking shots for goal from the boundary. Missing most of them though…will get a call up next week for sure. We have missed him the past few weeks.

Hampson vs. Darren P at tug of war, Hampson was absolutely killing him. He is a machine. :thumbsu:

Ellard was looking very small compared to the 5-10 year olds. :o Looking very slim and fit. Doubt he will make it in the Carlton side though.

Yarran was teaching kicking and handballing, were doing incredible things with his hands. Very slick moving. Needs to develop more in the next couple of years.

Gibbs was doing the handballing drill. It made me laugh because he had his head through the bullseye. I’ll be looking more closely at his games this season because I haven’t been that impressed lately with him.

Joey Anderson: looks extremely tall and lanky. I’m really hoping that they give this kid a chance. Speculation is that he might be delisted at the end of this year…is bullshit.

Mitch Robinson: was very good with the children. His hand is not bandaged or injured badly. Telling all the kids that he will be in the AFL side next week… doubt it.

All we looking very fit and happy to be there. Got lots of amazing shots of the boys and the kids. Saw Stevens on the way out of the ground, running across the ovals and was very tempted to give chase....

Mister Carlton out!

Good one MC :thumbsu:

Bad news about Bower, I saw him limping during the warmup so I think he was in pain most of the night.

Maybe Mitchy knows something we don't...

Nice to hear the boys actually chatting to the kiddies, they'd been wrapped in cotton wool for too many years and we'd been eclipsed by other teams in the family day/clinic stakes.

Nice one, MC. Yarran has spooky dexterity no question. Any pics? Did 24 look any chance of reeling in his personal training tortoise today?

It was a strange one, I saw him arriving because I think we stole his car spot and then once we reach the park, he wasn't on the field at all. With good reason, there are a lot of angry supporters. If you guys want me to upload photos, I'll watermark them and put them on here. But I'm really excited about Walker. :thumbsu:

Great report MC.

Just something that I want to incorporate in my life that will get me into a decent Uni. I haven't been feeling the best, so I'll try and get them watermarked and up.

Geez, come on, MC. Use a coffee cup like everyone else does.

Thy, do you want me to climb up the walls all night long?
I'll leave it for tomorrow I think, do you think you could last another night without them?

I agree ellard is quite small weighin just over 75Kg's he said, Met him on the wkend while stayin with army (Ellards staying there atm) but for how small he is he bench presses 125Kg 1RM which is a ***** good effort for someone that small! I mean I weight 88Kg and bench the same 1RM...well thats a lil bit of info if someone wanted to know it lol

MC, that's great mate. Might want to tweak the watermark translucency level a touch you think? Can barely see Sauce through all that alphabet soup. Great stuff regardless. :thumbsu:

I'm using a mac product through their store. Very little help, but I'm playing around with the settings. Should be able to get it right....

I admire Ellard, don't get me wrong. I think he was a very great work ethic and really wants to play AFL. But his lack of height will not help him.
