....Today I saw old Richmond, the Richmond I thought had died at the end of the 07 season.

.....Today I saw Richmond basically give up without much fight.

.....Today I felt more disappointment than I did after the round 6 Geelong game last year.

.....Today I saw a Richmond side play with no desire when it mattered most.

.....Today I saw a Richmond side play with no passion when it mattered most.

However,

.....Tomorrow I'll wake up and I'll still support Richmond.

To be blunt...Today Richmond were terrible
...Today Richmond all but blew any chance they had of playing finals in 08

...Tomorrow Richmond will still have greatly improved in 08, and will still have 8 and a half wins for the year.
...Tomorrow will be the time when the Tigers rise for the third time in a quarter of the century, and challenge for a flag.

Today Richmond was Richmond, the Richmond I have come to know for the past 26 years and counting.

Today and Tomorrow, JSFish remains in denial about his club's prospects.

Can't wait to get to the G again.

Yesterday we were belted by a much bigger and stronger side in the wet as you might expect with our kids and style of play but an interstate team on their home ground who are currently above us on the ladder. No reason for suicide just yet I would have thought. Essendon however....mmmmm We should be pissed off but keep it in perspective.

Do we have a skills coach at the tigers? seems over the last 6 weeks our skills have been not unlike under 16's quality. we cant hit a target...by hand or foot...we didnt turn the ball over this many times even last year...frustrated frustrated frustrated:mad:

You need to be careful in these rants not to confuse effort with ability...I think it was quite evident the lads were trying pretty hard....was it young Jacks lack of passion and will that had him spill a chest mark in F50, was it richo's lack of passion that had him miskick a shot from 20m out directly in front...was it a lack of passion that Morton couldnt get a yard on his opponent ...we were outplayed and were hapless v a side that plays man on man football....TW needs to have a few more tricks to counter this...but dont bark up agint the wrong tree:eek:

yesterday - we were sc.hit

today - I know we're sc.h!t

tomorrow - I know we'll be sch!t

ahhhh, how the asleep still want to keep their heads buried in the sand, hoping that the stars will align, the moon blue turns blue and all of a sudden, all the development and skills coaching that has supposedly been learnt, clicks.

Earth to tigerheads.....Miller ****ed us up, when we had the chance to build a top team, he got it wrong and he is now gone. If you dont understand how worng he got it, watch the replay and keep your eye on the way Cotchin plays and how the other "top" draft picks play. Its like day and night. e.g, crow has the ball, running with it along the wing, Cotchin dives in an attempt to do something, even if its nothing, the percieved pressure does not allow the crow to execute exactly how he wanted to.
Other tigers, the crow is running with the ball and the second he is past them, their job is done, its someone elses problem. ;)

Today is the start of a new beginning.

This season will be looked at as the one where Richmond turned the corner, as we have improved greatly in 2008. There are no more humiliating losses, and the team has been super competitive throughout most of the year

Tomorrow will be the realisation and deliverance of the plan that takes the Tigers back to the top.
The foundations are now set. This is an exciting side ready to take the next steps, and seriously challenge for finals action.

Well done to TW and his team of assistants for sculpturing this side into a team able to challenge for finals action over the next decade :thumbsu:

Hehe. We'll see ey.

so tell us dude....when does living in denial actually dawn on you? how long have you been living in reality(the way you see it) and when does that become denial? I am tipping never, so you keep watiting for it to become reality, suggesting "just you wait" to those who continue to suggest you do live in denial. ;)

I could say the exact same for you Cogga.

And could I ask in future you never quote and talk to me again, because I can't stand the stress trying to decipher your posts causes my brain.

your brain? so you do have one correct? Now since you suggest you do, how about not saying the same to me but acutally answering what was asked..
When does a delusional supporter, realise that what he thinks is reality isnt?
I mean, you can live in denial for 10 or 15 years, and suggest things are on the up, in the face of stark facts suggesting the opposite. And then if things turn for the better, you can then come out and say, see, all you darksiders were wrong.
I even bet you have been spruiking the same positive shit for the last decade and hoping like hell something turns so you can get on your high horse correct?

Actions instigate change dude, we had inaction for 5 years under Spud and now we have had inaction for the next 4 under TW. And why? because we are suppose to eat out own. Funny thing is we did and we do....the even funnier thing is that those who we have eaten, have to a man been shown to be shithouse by the path that they have taken after we showed them the door. Keep sleeping fool.

BTW who does TW answer to for his performances? i.e who is the Graeme Richmond of the tigers now? Whoever it is, take note. what would graeme Richmond be doing as we speak? Pouring the acid on TW and demanding action or else. Pressure to keep your spot works right through a club dude....from the top to the bottom, to suggest you are safe to someone being paid top dollar is completely ridiculous and those who are entrusted with the future of this club should be held accountable. ;)

Oh very crass, Cogga. You think he doesn't have a brain?
Gees, that really cuts deep, to be insulted as "not having a brain" from someone such as yourself. Dude.

And how is he supposed to know when "delusional supporters" face facts as such...If he turns out to be wrong in thinking that we are steadily improving (which is actually a fact, and not delusional...last time I checked 8 wins was more than 3...and all those with brains would realise that...obviously not JSFish, ay?) then I'm sure he'll admit he was wrong...but he won't know for at least 2 more years. Whereas, if do happen to build a good, premiership winning team, you will be one of the ones who is still adamant you were right in the first place, beacause about 10 of the players from yesterdays adelaide match wont be part of the premiership team of 3-ish years time. ;)
