I'm smarting over missing it at $15.95 from PS+ in the first week. Now it's out to $19.95 I just can't justify a purchase with the other games coming out (same reason I'm missing Unfinished Swan at least until next year) next month and beyond.

But have heard the same. The game looked incredibly awful pre-release, but come release almost everyone that I have seen play it has given it a glowing review.

It may not be the most mechanically, graphically or technically sound game. But what's there is apparently very addictive and really great to play in bursts. Plus it doesn't hold back in it's viciousness and seems to be a true 'post apocalyptic' type of game.

I have Tokyo Jungle. It's definitely an acquired taste..... and it can be very repetitive, but it is fun trying to survive as long as you can and unlocking the different animals. Clearly a unique experience, and the main selling point was the price. $20, so I didn't hesitate. Like I said, it's very repetitive and has crappy graphics plus basic design. There's a pretty meh campaign, but the meat of the game is Survival mode which is basically lasting as long as you can for online leaderboards.

I played the shit out of this game, but once I got to 100+ years with my black panther dynasty, I kind of lost the urge to play. The peak had been climbed type of feel.

Anybody else got this game? ($20 off PS store) One of the most original games to come to the Western gaming world in years. I like to think of it has a Metal Gear Solid - Grand Theft Auto fusion with obvious survival game aspects. Bought it at the same time as I got NHL 12 and Dishonored and I haven't touched the other two I'm having that much fun with it.

Just got to year 113 as a Retriever, was actually pretty easy up until about year 70 (other then trying to hunt and kill the Tosa boss) where pretty much every zone is polluted and its all apex predators (dinosaurs/crocs/tigers0 so I pretty much spent my last 60 years hiding in the sewers living of porcupines and water and only going to the surface to mate which becomes tiresome as you have to quickly run out and mark then quickly run back into the sewers, getting a high enough ranking to mate with anything other then desperate becomes extremely hard aswell.

Went through 9 generations I believe and on the last (mated in the sewers) woke up surrounded by some half man/ape animal snuck around them but there was another large group blocking the entrance so I ended up being chased by 50 ape things and quickly got pounded to death after I ran out of stamina.
