He was looking very good for us too Dry Rot. Trouble is, he was pulling up very poorly afterwards.
That was enough for us to give him a wide berth. Probably would have taken him second round rookie, but also knew he probably wouldn't have been there.
The other major factor is he's a type we don't need. Not that outside tall, quickish, strong marking, big kicking players aren't desired, just that we've got Tarrant, Travis Cloke (who's already shown more than Tom ever did and was just 17) and Sean Rusling, who is just 2cm shorter, faster and a better mark than Tommy (big, but true statement), and had 9 shots at goal in his first VFL game (Tommy's best would be 4 or 5).
Wish him well, we know he has ability, but we know his issues and drafted accordingly.

Hey, not having a go that you let him go, just an update.
Yes, you do have some promising talls - imagine them with our midfield!
Pies/Dogs - now that's one merger that hasn't been floated on the AFL Board.
