With Joy I Cried ! Boys I have seen The Mighty Blues 6 premierships and the last 8 years has been damm very very hard to take.
But this team is starting to emerge. Tonight was an awesome win & make me very proud Tonight the team just kept at it all night I would have been proud if we lost but this win I believe will set up some good culture - a winning culture - Bring it on Boys !

spot on there Jezza. Tonights win will give the boys all sorts of confidence in the coming weeks and will not second guess themselves anymore, if they already were that is. Carlton are beginning to erase that negative mentality of "here we go again, another loss" and changing it to "we can really win this". And, i think, it all comes back to one man.... No, not that one, but Ratts. Has re-installed all types of confidence in the boys and has set us up in the long run.

I was in tears at half time, and I was in tears at full time, but both were very different sorts of tears. At half time I felt like tearing off my Blues jumper, and at full time I was running down my drive-way, waving it above my head, tears building up in my eyes.

I love this football club, I love where it's going, and I loved the passion I saw in the last quarter.

Well done Jezza, i'm sure you're far from alone when you say that you shed a happy tear tonight!:thumbsu:

After simmo's goal and I saw grigga grab him, the house was shaking and I turned around and my wife was in tears. THIS IS THE RE-BIRTH of our TEAM and the beginning of something special in the years to come.

I gave us no hope and I love the fact I was completely wrong. I was also completely wrong with my constant bagging of Jordan Russell. I have constantly doubted his courage and disposal. Tonight he proved me a fool.

I live Carlton, I love Carlton and I can't fcuking wait for next Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watching the game on Fox, even though I am a passionate Swans' fan I jumped for joy when Simpson kicked the goal through to put you in front. Stirring comeback. Well done Blues!

When the old man looks at you with a tear in his eye and you've both got no voices left you know it's a good win. I went to the 1995 Grand Final with him as an 8 year old and I can't wait to go to our next flag with him as a 20 something year old. Geez I love this game. Geez I love this club. My blood is navy blue. Bring on number 17 in 2011! I've been saying it for years.

I got a bit teary as well. The last time i got teary because of Carlton was when they lost to West Coast last year or the year before when they were up by so much. Tonight though are good tears.

this is twice we beaten last years Runners up first was The Nab Cup now today can we make it 3 times when we return to play them at the dome Later on :thumbsu: we're in for a big chance next week :) and lets pay Essendon & Richmond Back and saints so far we had not Beltings which is a good sign or 100pt losses :thumbsu: Collingwood with a day less to recover :) lets hope Collingwood wins tomorrow so they don;t take it out on us if they lose
If We can repeat last time we'll win this time don;t slack off
usally we do in the last Qtr

IT WAS AWESOME. Do not doubt how great that win was tonight. How many teams kick 7 to zip to win a game in the last quarter.

The spirit is back. Feed it. Eat it. Breath it.

Pray that Fev isn't ballsed out for next week

Regardless we are back and Collingwood better be ready because it's obvious that our young blokes mean it.

I was at the game and the only incident that Im remembering is when fev hit carlie with his forearm in the first or second quater i think. Is this the incident every1 is talking about? If it is then theres nothing in it.

i didn't quite get to the tears stage, but by god when simmo kicked the goal to put us in front the whole house rumbled to the sound of one almighty COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (with fist pump included), i'm still buzzing.

i don't have fox and was studying, but was listening to the radio the whole match. the last quarter i was shaking with nerves and excitement and was jumping up and down for the last 5 mins and 20 mins after the match.
amazing win.. will be watching full quarter on afl site when they get it up
