After 800m we were only 1 tenth of a second behind them
Thorpe did well to cover their ground but the yanks did it just! Well done to them.

Poor Hackett very ********ing poor over a second slower than his final swim which by his standards was average in itself, down by a body+ to a man who just come off a 200 fly WTF.....is he a yank in disguise? because he and he alone won them the race...........

Certainly a low after last night. You could see the out and out disappointment in the Aussie team. Still, take solace in the fact it was a race of the highest calibre.
