Thought I'd go for something a little more positive. Your favorite current pies ordered in a top 10.
1. Pendles, no explanation needed.
2. Howe, just heart and soul and spectacular
3. Sidebottom, we will all miss what we have when he is gone.
4. Treloar, I know he butcher's it sometimes, but he always finds it, I like the guy and still hope he has another level to go to.
5. DeGoey, match winner, when he becomes what Pettacca is now, mid fwd mix, we will be at our best. Who would have said that before this season!!!?
6. Langdon, some will already know that I love the guy, fearless overhead and composed, would have liked some more strength through the body for one on ones, but he has been badly missed.
7. Maynard, gets better every year, will be an AA level defender for years to come.
8. Crisp, he just always plays and has that speed and line breaking that we often miss. When he is at his best, we rarely lose.
9. Grundy, this may be lower than most others would have him, but I think he has been a tad overrated. Hasn't really taken a big game by the scruff of the neck and often turns the ball.over horrendously. That's what has him this low for me. Still, his efforts when the ball hits the ground are generally Herculean.
10. Adams, he took Heath Shaw away (in my mind and Shaw was my fav player) so he could never be top 5, but he has lifted in big games and you could never question his effort.
Next: Moore (skyrocketing), Elliott (holding ground) Stephenson (dropping), Quaynor (up like a bullett).
