I was pretty confident midway through the third quarter! But the paranoia level is always higher with your own team.

As far as top four goes, next week is a real crunch game for you guys - beat Melbourne at the G, and you really are setting yourselves up as a top four possibility.

Imagine it...

1. West Coast
2. Brisbane
3. Port Adelaide
4. Fremantle

West Coast v Freo in the first week of the finals, then meeting again on the last Saturday in September...

Let's not get carried away, it was only the Saints and we were far from convincing IMO. If we can somehow beat Melbourne next week, then I'll be confident of making the 8.

I agree Kenny but it says something about how we are travelling that a 41 point win can be seen as "far from convincing".

I've got a fairly good feeling about Melbourne since they lack tall defenders and are short of scoring options out side of Nietz and maybe Robertson. Pav on Nietz and break even in the midfield and I think we can win.

Agree entirely IMO the scoreboard flattered us but we did enough. Bit of a flat game for us , similar to E-girls vs the Cats.

The saints came to play and we ground out a win with out being brilliant. Good signs IMHO.
