OK, as the draft is only a week away I thought we'd have a little comp to see who gets closest to naming the top 5 (in order) or 10, if you're feeling really smart, to be taken on draft day. You don't have to name what number, or too which club, they will be taken, just the first 5, or more, WA boys names you think will be called out.

Add in a smokie as well, like Liam Anthony etc, who you think will be taken but not in the top 5 from WA. Remember, you don't have to agree, like I don't agree with Hill at 4, just the way you think it will go.

1. Nick Naitanui;
2. Daniel Rich;
3. Chris Yarran;
4. Stephen Hill;
5. Michael Walters

Smokey: Liam Anthony (I hope)

So TBU got the closest out of the 3 of us that were willing to have a crack.

Who would've picked:

Naita;
Hill;
Yarran;
Rich;
Swift

In that order?

I just about spat out my Wheetbix when we picked Ballantyne at 21. You nicked Swift off us chrsco ha.

Well, if he pans out to be as good as U16 form, which is not definitive I know, we'll have "stolen" him off a lot of clubs. Can't believe Melbourne passed him up at 17 and 19 - thought they'd take him for sure. Did you're hopes get up when he was there at 19?

I would've spat my weetbix at Balla at 21, as well, but it was balanced out getting Suban and then Walters at 53.

I wasn't that worried just thought it was funny because Freo obviously wanted him as they took ages for their next pick.

Did you hear the commentators say that he used to swim and that had affected his knees? My brother used to swim at state level for years and he said that his knees these days often hurt from all the breaststroke kicking.. something that I would have never thought about..

Didn't watch the broadcast so never heard that, in fact hadn't thought that swimming could be detrimental like that. I hope it's untrue in Swifty's case!
