Surely after our devastating performance in FNQ against Melbourne we are monties ..

Schulz and Hughes are guns

Our mid-field the equal of any ... Saint Terry the masterful .....

Tambling brownlow favourite .

Can it get any better ?

I think your point is very good. Once Andy Collins gets 40 possesions and kicks 15 goals on debut against Geelong, then we can start partying. :thumbsu::D

All jokes aside, this just highlights the fragility of some posters. If you believed the doom and gloom from last week, we were destened for the VFL. Someone wanted the captain shot, Tambo was gone even before the season started, and we had the spoon wrapped up.

Jumping on here this monring I expected to see at least something to indicate that those posters had been a little premature in there predictions. But, I got nothing.

This board was the busiest place around last week, trolls and us included, today on the other hand, two thirds of **** all.

Probably stating the bloody obvious but the difficult thing to measure is where we are against everyone else. Sure we have probably improved in some areas and the kids are a year older and smarter but what about every other team? Are they worse same or better?
If the WGAF Cup was fair dinkum you would take last weeks loss as a positive given the Saints this week beat last years premiers who, last year were 100 pts better than their nearest competition. Hawthorn toyed with Carlton then reached for the handbrake. Collingwood got flogged for the second time, Port got flogged worse and the Doggies aren't looking like world beaters exactly. All good stuff but at the end of the day its this NAB meaningless crap. None of us will have any idea until about Round 6, RFC brainstrust included. Just shows how futile this pre-season farce is.
