livingston for spriggs i think it is a reasonable trade it is problably better for geelong because you are trading a small midfielder who you have enough for for a big sized backman who has some potential but wat do you cat supporters think about it

Spriggs was our 25th player this year in a team that made the finals. Livingston would be our 38th.

Pretty simple. No deal. Spriggs gets slammed all over the place but in reality he isn't that bad. He's definately no gun but he's no where near the David Clarke stage.

At another club this year he would have played most of the year in the ones. All he needs is some confidence and regular game time coz he has shown he has talent in his first 2 years. I know people will make jokes b/c it so easy but that's the bottom line

I agree to a point Spriggs has got some talent (most league footballers do except some that played in the Brown and Gold this year

Spriggs stupid accident with his knee put him 2yrs behind where he should have been and killed his future at Geelong. He is a receiver and need to toughen up a bit. Good runner but his disposal does let him down.

I think he may end up at Bulldogs for some reason for a 3rd round pick

Third thread you've started about the exact same topic.

You can have Spriggs and can keep Livingston. Deal?

I reckon they should trade Spriggs for me, a country football reserves player, coz even i can kick better than him. But seriously i think we should take what we can get for him, Livingston maybe, what about Sam Hunt from Essendon, ex Geelong Falcon, the dons need speed, it could work.

There's no point taking a player who we don't want and don't think will improve our list.

We need depth at CHB/FB, but i don't believe Livingston would be worthy of a spot on our list.

Hi all...here's my first post here at bigfooty...

I personally think clubs won't trade anything for spriggs, but a lot of clubs might be eyeing him off for the PSD. Seriously, as much as his disposal, etc this has let him down...he has a great work ethic. If it wasn't for Spriggs' training program, Ling would not be the footballer he is today.
I'm not too fussed either way (trade or PSD) as I don't think we would get anything good for him, but I would really hope he gets picked up by someone and has a good career.

Pat.

I reckon that spriggs is good but we have the midfielders so he doesn't get a game i reckon we should get sam hunt and daniel hunt.
