one guy that could slot in really well at richmond is ryan murphy...he is a victorian and is out of favour at the moment so may not have to give up much...

i really feel a strong backman and another strong midfielder would make us a competitive finals team.

Unless we can get an awesome deal (e.g. polak), really hope the only trading we do this year is for picks.

I just dont know how he will fit in with Deledio, Raines, Coughlan, Foley, Edwards, Johnson, Polo, Hyde midfield next year.

I think McGuane just re-signed with us for two years, so he is off limits. I would keep Moore for one more year. He is just not getting the opportunities and hes not taking them as well. Most of them I would trade and I would not even think about trading our captain. I would not trade Jackson and Hartigan as he has been injured for a while and came back last week. In September we will know more who will be coming or going in regards to trades.

Look, i like Krack and Hartigan... will agree on all the rest.

Krachour is like Tivendale, he is a confidence player, When he is on song, there are few better crumbing forward in the game.

Hartigan hasn't really had a chance to make it in our backline which is probably the best we've had in ages. Bowden, Polak, Rains, Newman, King... not much room there. Need him as a back up

I was reading on the Melbourne board that quite a few ppl want Brad Green to be shopped around and they would possible expect a 2nd round pick for him pretty good considering he can play midfield and forward i know we dont wanna offload any early picks but if i was in the situation id be very tempted

Picking up Brad green for a 2nd round pick would be disastrous, he is not what we are looking for, that is danny frawley richmond, i believe the only players we will trade for are young players not getting an opportunity elsewhere, players that we have to give up next to nothing for, ie p. bowden, or established superstars that we will probably have to give up alot for, and even the last one isnt likely.

That implies that you're going to have to part with something.

I've seen plenty of wishful thinking in this thread, but no realistic suggestions about what the Tigers would bring to the table.

Or are you just banking on getting a swag of quality players for nothing in the PSD?

That seems to be a common assumption among Richmond fans.

I prefer our own. Time and time again picking up players from other clubs do not work. Its time we bank on the youth in the draft. If pleyrs decide does leave than trade by all means.

Getting the players above like Riewoldt, Judd, Cousins etc the problem is there salary and thats not what we want. The youth is the way to go and thats the right way to began the task of climbing up the ladder

tivendale is a victorian, and ATM he adds a lot more than someone like edwards, who will be a gun but is too slight and doesn't have tiv's endurance. tiv played his best game in years against melbourne.
