Training

I went to training at Monash today.

I had to leave early but briefly:

All players were in attendance. Both Gehrig and Lawrence trained with the main group.

Loewe,Traianidis,and Schwarze were in green jumpers but seemed to move freely.

Elliot and Riewoldt were on the oval but were restricted.

There was a general enthusiasm in the drills they were doing.

Just on Gehrig and Lawerence, you said they were back training with the main group. Did they look like they were ready to play for Springvale this week or might they need a few more weeks of training before playing a match?

Gehrig was wearing a bandage on his knee but seemed to move freely.

I talked to a guy who informed me that Gehrig,Lawrence and Loewe would play for Springvale at the weekend in a practice match.

If the VFL game wasn't in Ballarat, I might have gone down to have a look. If I do get there, I'll let you all know how they go.

Ant, I haven't been down to training yet but I read an interview with one of our players (might have been Capuano) who said he still loves to kick his torps and have a kick with the boys.

It appears that Gehrig,Lawrence,Cripps,Begley,Trianidis,
Powell & Baker will all play today at Ballarat for Springvale.

Loewe is not playing.
