Hi Guys

sorry if this has been covered, I couldn't find anything when I searched.

I am replacing my old PC with a laptop, but I need to keep about 5 years of archived emails.

The PC is running Outlook Express, and I've put Mozilla Firefox on the laptop. Transferring the address book went nicely, but I can't work out how to move the old emails across.

Can anyone please help me? The Mozilla forums I checked just made me more confused. And I'm already not very bright :(

how quaint!! email stored on a single machine and not in the cloud.

but

you need to find your outlook express mail folder. tools/ options / maintenance should give you the directory.

copy that enitre thing onto a DVD or across the network

put on your new machine.

then use the Thunderbird import messages function.
