I read in the Herald Sun that Richmond are chatting to Travis Cloke… Surely they have no hope in picking him under the father son rule… Seeing we got both of his brothers at Pie land?

How many Clokes do we need? How many games did David play for Richmond,im pretty sure he can go to the tigers.
The chances of him going to Richmond roughly resemble the chances of Richmond making the finals....

This is starting to alternatively sh*t me and worry me. It's been mentioned in several articles that both Richmond and Collingwood are interested, Richmond would like to get him, etc. I had assumed that it was practically a done deal, but obviously Richmond seem to think they're in with a chance.
Its a done deal. Theres no way Mrs Cloke would have her baby boy playing away from the 2 older sons.
He will play with Collingwood, don't you worry about that. Richmond would have talked to all the Cloke's.
BTW, the AFL have just approved and application from Collingwood for Travis to start training with us. Richmond would be silly not to let Travis know that they would like to recruit him if Collingwood doesn't.

I'm not particularly worried. From what I've heard, Richmond would be crazy not to talk to him. And under the father-son rule They have rights to him the same as Collingwood.
But also from what I've heard, I think that Travis would want to play with his brothers, so I think that he will end up at Collingwood.

Just covering their bases, what if Travis turns out to be no good or not worth a 2nd/3rd round pick? We might overlook him..the Tiges might take a risk..they have to talk to him at the very least. Provided he keeps going the way hes going though he'll be a Pie.
He's a fair way from having to make a committment, but assuming he's AFL quality (even if he's a clear #1 pick), what the hell are Richmond able to offer Travis?
I'd consider that they are only able to get paid the base wages for the first (and second?) years, so as to avoid draft tampering.
I agree with most here, that Richmond will have to at least look like they are trying, but I'm sure the Clokes agree that the dynasty is at Collingwood and whatever Richmond offers, we'll offer the same.....plus success!!

You would think Collingwood would be clear favorite for the new messiah. If he ends up picking the Tigers some serious questions would ahve to asked at Collingwood. I don't expect to asking any serious questions.
