Ouch.

Thats disappointing, but at least he shall be ready again for the latter half of the season and come finals time.....

With Gaspar being out it gives Lynch time to develop at the AFL level. Or Siera will be able to come straight back in. I have to say Lynch is a huge bonus to the team. If he can continue to improve he could be a very good player for West Coast.

We have a week off before Adelaide so id say that Gardiner and Siera will come in for Gaspar and Lynch.

Wouldnt be surprised to see Wilson back by then either

Damn, I thought he was finally going to get through an entire season without injury.

His form hasn't been great over the past month, but shouldering Centre Half Forward and supporting Cox in the Ruck isn't easy, especially when your only 20.

Still, the rest may do his young body a bit of good in the long run.

thank the football gods that we have a bye next week.

with gardi, siera and now gas out we would have struggle to find a back up for cox next weekend.

i really hope gardi can shake this hamstring problem.

this bye is great news for our team considering we've got these injuries to all our tall players

hopefully against adelaide we can have gardy, siera and even wilson back *fingers crossed*

Geez thats a blow...he is going to be a very good footballer if he can ever get past these injuries. At least it isnt a reoccuring injury though and the borken bone in your foot could happen to anyone. The week off is a blessing and i would be very very surprised to not see Wilson out there against Adelaide. He is a tough guy and has already missed 2 weeks, he said at the Sydney match that if it were up to him he would be out there so he obviously feels good.

I am told that BB put his hand up for the Carlton match and was knocked back by the medics. Apparently he thinks a broken collarbone is a minor thing and shouldn't stop him from playing

Hard man is BB

When he was interviewed at half time at the sydney match, he said he felt he was ok to play against sydney, and expected to be back against Carlton  Reminds me of a bloke I used to know who dislocated his elbow after falling over during a crosscountry run, and then ran the next 5km over rough ground, finished, went home, and the next day complained his elbow 'felt a bit sore'
The term 'nutter' springs to mind. Anyone want to make bet that in the first minute back against adelaide, Willow runs straight at the biggest bloke he can find, just to prove that he isn't intimidated?- (<-- problem: in all likelihood, the biggest bloke he can find will be Quinten Lynch!)

I have this feeling that we'll get Gardi and Porno back for the Adelaide game and then the next week we'll have Siera back. It came in a dream last night..Im watching the footy show and the teams are announced and Gardi and Porno play against the crows. Hope it comes true! Where gunna need em!!! The teams we play after the break are tough. Adelaide are good..geelong are good at home and the bombers should never be discarded..their good..even if there at subiaco!
On the friendly ghost....Lets hope he has a full recovery and can get back on the paddock asap!

The guys a freak.... ;)

Hope he's back for Adelaide, we'll need him

Yeah Iceman...the crows have a preety big (tall) defence and were gunna need Willo running in to them and scaring them to unnerve them and even if he cant take the mark providing a crumb for Fido or Wirra or Williams ( did everyone like his game?...thought he was good..should play against the crows)

I was under the impression Adelaide was a team that lacked key position players, or is that just a forward line problem? Id like to know who these tall defenders are. Either way at the moment id say Adelaide are the most underrated side in the competition and we'll have to be at our best, even at home, to beat them. Once again our midfield has to really get on top and the team will have to play a lot better for 4 quarters than we did against Sydney and Carlton.

The crows have already shown they play very well away from home. I would expect this to be a very tough game. I saw the game crows v brisbane on telly and was impressed with the crows midfield -they were ferocious and hard at all contests. Their talls looked pretty good, including their two big ruckmen.
Having said all of that, given the eagles record so far at Subi, there is a good prospect of a win.
Personally I'm hoping for fine weather, and an eagles team with Gardiner and Wilson in it. I have my tickets and will be there on the day....my one and only game for the year.

I think it is just their forward line that has problems actually Thrawn. Having done a bit more research into the Crows I can now tell u that I was wrong about the height but they are preety good down back all the same. Yep ur right Thrawn were going to have to be at our best if were going to win..for all 4 quarters not like Sydney or Carlton.

This is the thing that really scares me about Willow...because as big as Lynch is, Wilson would run right through him! :D
