I'm a local , have no idea of what whispers are being refered to be then again I'm rather insular sole.
But if there is any sort of issue that becomes more of an issue when he is not playing football... then the club should be diligent. TV's career hangs by a frail thread due to his body not being resilient , and last thing we as a club want to see is a champ like him fall when his football is over. Im sure the club has learned from the dark days of Ezra Bray , in fact the whole AFL has.
For now , just like Menzel , we should note that he is still young and should do what is in his careers long term best interest , even if it means not seeing him again till 2013
