Strange meet. Times across the board were amazing. The winner improved his PB by .24. The guy who ran 3rd improved his PB by more than 0.2. The guy who came 4th improved by 0.2 - and he's 23. The girls who won the 100 improved by more than 0.3!! (Her previous PB was set in March this year, so that's massive). The girl who won the 400 ran a huge PB and is now the fastest in the world this year. Massive tailwinds everywhere. The track is also at 1000m altitude which is significant.

The winner - Bromell - had equaled the World Junior record in March 2014 - with a 10.01 (and that was windy +1.5). Obviously, he's bloody good. Now 2 months later he's come out and run nearly a quarter of a second faster? And so has everybody else in the race?? Notice the guy who came 3rd? White guy! Fastest ever run by a white man. Yep, like that's going to happen at an American College meet.

The American colleges have a bit of history with occasionally producing meets with results like this. Where everybody looks like a world-beater. I'll reserve judgement.

what was the wind reading and was it accurate?

From that video the race was run the wrong way like they do in Perth when the Fremantle Doctor blows a gale so that instead of a 6m headwind you have a 6m tailwind for the 100m
