I think what i'm saying is Foley is good, very good, but Cotchin is going to be even better. have no doubt he will bring other guys into the game, but at the moment all the talk is about Foley, you watch people jump off his ship and onto Cotchin's.

dont understate Foley my friend, just missed AA last year was near BOG in the state game and will be up for AA in 2008...silly to suggest a youngster will top that after 5 minutes:eek:

The way he moves reminds me of the great Royce Hart.

Will be a superstar, is in another league, a super super player has finally found his way to Tigerland...finally!!!

This kid will be awesome.

Yep the poor old Pratts of Princess Car Park...picked a good but ultimately one dimensional ruckman over future legend Cotchin....blew their cap on Chri$ "my best footy's behind me" Judd the dud , stuck with a useless coach and no-hopers like Damp Squib & Shitanta O'Hacklin... and to "cap" (hur-hur) it all off , with 13 rounds still to go , now can't afford anymore victories in their treasured Tankers Trophy a.k.a Natanui Cup.:o

Another way to look at it is they're a game out of the 8, Kreuzer is a future star, Judd is getting back his best, Ratten's renowned football brain is starting to work out the coaching caper, Gibbs looks a long-term player and the Irishman is pulling his weight and will only get better.
But that doesn't suit us so we'll just say that Carlton sucks, always has and always will.;)

I guess you could look at it that way or you could look at the fact Carlton are on top of Richmond and you are still dirty that you finished last last year and still didn't get the number 1 draft pick. i know how it feels though, 2002 we won our first wooden spoon ever, yet still didnt get the number 1 pick, am still dirty on that. so yeah, i know how you feel.

i wouldn't say Kruizer is one dimentional either, he reminds me a lot of Brad Ottens, a good ruckman who looks very comfortable in the forward line. I have to admit though, i am talking more about him as a player last year for the Knights rather than what he has done so far. Lets just hope it doesn't take him as long as it did Ottens to become a star.
Lets also hope that Richmond don't trade Cotchin off just before he hits his peak just like Ottens. What were you thinking??

hey i see alot of you guys are falling in love with cotchin well let me tell you ya havent seen his best yet this kid is a freak wait till he gets a bit more confidence an starts jumping he has a awesum vertical leap an will be taking speccys sumday soon i saw him play in skl footy an the game i watched he took 4 hangers one being sumtin ive probably neva seen before the only thing this kid was a little full of himself but hey i guess he can but richmond supporters be happy uve got a star in the making he will bring many happy times to your games of football

#1 Didn't we beat you first round after you lot said you'd be pretty much unbeatable with Chris Judd?

And

#2 It Wouldn't of made a diffrence if we got pick 1 we still would of picked Cotchin over Kreuzer..

So it's a win win situation for the tiger faithful :D

was at the game but it was when i got home and watched the replay i couldnt believe how good Cotch was.

Could't agree more. Mainly because when he gets it by the time you realise who it is he's already dished it off and set someone up.

I'm A Fan!

The handball he dished off to Matty White in the first quarter that white goaled from brought a big smile to my face.
Happened to watch the reply of the first quarter again last night, and his gather from the Reiwoldt punch, and give to Matty White was inspiring stuff. Clean gather at pace at the front of the pack, and then a 15m handpass to a running player who didn't have to break stride. Great stuff.

This kid will be better than judd, ablett, cousins, kerr and hird....fastest, cleanest hands in the comp PLUS some sort of warp speed invisibility cloak thingy.

Looks the goods does he not...
But re his speed, is he a jet like some knob comentator on Saturday was saying? Looks to be quick rather than express to me.
Not that it matters at all when you have a brain that is faster than the speed of light! ;)

Draft reports said his speed was good, not Tambling/Deledio like or anything but faster than 3sec over 20m and of course the brain makes his body twice as fast!

Above poster is right - this guy could be better than Judd, Ablett, Kerr, Hird etc, Cotchin has got everything you could ask for in a footballer :thumbsu:

Do us proud :D

That's just it...His brain gets him moving in the right direction a step faster than most, so he gets a head start. In congested play, this'll make him seem quick, but in the open, he'll probably get caught easily enough by those with genuine footspeed.
