heard it this morning freo were minutes away from signing trent croad for number 4 pick and something else but not to sure
we will soon find out if this is the real thing or some media person starting some new rumours

There are so many rumours about Croad at the moment. Someone at Hawthorn has made themselves very unpopular over this Croad thing I'll bet. Anyway, it would be nice to have him in a Dockers guernsy next season, but I'm not geting too excited yet.

It would also be nice to have a coach at this point. I'd like to know what the hell is going on with that. Maybe Schwabby did not want anyone holding him back as he wheels and deals his way through the next week. or maybe he is having one last crack at getting us a blue chip coach like Pagan or Wallace.

I heard on the radio aroung 40 minutes ago that the hawks fans are having a rally at glenferrie oval today because they are angry at the hawks board for giving croady the heave ho but the board is denying it?!?
Also, Croady apparantly walked out on the hawks because he thought they wanted him traded but they are saying its not true.....maybe a lack of communication that costed the hawks a great up and coming player!
