For no other reason, other than to quell my curiosity..

How is Trent going? Is he still playing/training with De La Salle? How's his foot treating him in his after-pro-footy life?

Hope he's doing well :thumbsu:

He lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Plays for the KL Warriors - aussie rules team that plays other regional aussie rules teams. More for fun than anything else.

I think his parents run a business that buys and sells gold (dont quote me) and they do a fair bit of this out of KL.

Trent Croad will be playing for Keilor Park in the next few weeks.

WIll debut in Round 13 against Glenroy

I Need him to sign his 2008 Premiership Card. The only one I don't have signed!! Get back to OZ Croady....I have a Weg and Premiership Card Collection I want to have framed and put on the wall !!!

He has left KL now as he was in KL to set up business which I think has been done.
My understanding is that he had some trials for NFL teams setup (not sure at what level maybe college) but haven't heard any results.

Can confirm that he did play for the Malaysian Warriors though but was used primarily as a full forward due to concerns on foot (1st time he had run in ages). In his 1st game he did kick a lazy 7 goals against Jakarta though.

Reported in today's Sunday herald sun that Croad's foot specialist got in touch with Croad after reading reports of him playing and strongly advised him not to play. This is some serious injury.

Had a chat to him a few weeks ago. Came back to Melbourne for a visit from KL.

Definitely going over to the US to try NFL punting but is very realistic that his chances are very slim.

Such a real Hawthorn guy, hope he is well. Sucked the way he went out of footy, but I guess a grand final was good enough. Was each year after the premiership he would be good enough to come back. Must have been some foot injury!

Don't get how he is allowed to play for his Malaysian team but not allowed to play here in the EDFL by his doc. Rougher league obviously...

Doc Says NO!
