Was just scrolling through some of the other teams boards, as having one of those "can't be bothered" type of days.

There was a post on the Sydney board touting the possibility of TDL leaving at the end of this season. The reasons for doing so seemed quite lame and a drew a very long bow, however as was also mentioned and as I also recall, he trained with us a couple of years back prior to getting taken by Sydney in the draft.

He's not tall (181cm), however could he be of any use to us in the forward line? From the limited amount I have seen of him when he's got his opportunity at Sydney he knows how to find the ball.

Believe he'd be 25 sometime next year, so would be deemed more of a mature aged recruit.

Not really needed with us having Balla,Walters ,Mello and Crozier...if he was fast and played midfield then would consider

He's no Jetta but does have a good knack for goals. Not sure the defensive side of his game measures up.

i'm not sure how he goes defensively most of the time, but this is what i think of when i think of TDL

was pretty electrifying at the ground!

think he's handy depth for the swans, but you've got to admit, it's pretty hard to break into the swans line up at the moment (though i'm not sure most of the footy media have realised that the swans are even in the comp. they are too busy thinking about 'top of the table' hawthorn...)

He was great in the games he played for the Swans a few years back. But has fallen out of favour since.

Always worth consideration if he is released by Sydney. FFC were going to pick him a few years back anyways and he would add depth especially considering our club's luck with injuries. TDL has been in the system for a few years plus with having former Swans coaches in Lyons and Stone I'm sure they can work with him.

I remember after he trained with us he said that Freo had told him that they wouldn't pick him up. Not to say this can't change, but it wasn't as though Sydney got in before us.

One way, lazy, unaccountable and soft.

Runs hard when he can can sniff a goal though, he and Morton would do well at the winter olympics.
