Yeah, Steve Waugh did cross my mind but I decided he'd had to have made at least 2,000 of his runs before 1990, so I ruled him out.

How about Mark Taylor or Mark Waugh?

Just out of interest, does anyone know how many runs Brian Lara, Mark Taylor and Mark Waugh scored in the 1990's??? I would have thought it was pretty close between Taylor, Waugh, Lara and Stewart.
