I understand he had a run with the garlic munchers last weekend, but does anyone know if he is ready for the start of the season proper or is he still getting his "touch" back ?.

When he has been fit he's been a very lively player who can run through lines and has a good kick. If we can get him on the park fully fit, he will be like a new recruit as he has been forgotten by most when assessing the teams prospects for 2002 and beyond.

I was at training Tuesday night, and he seemed to be moving well, albeit wearing the blue 'injured' players jumper ... he cant be too far off.

Me and a mate were marvelling at #15, a tall black that moved so damn well, and had great touch ... who was this mysetery man, training the house down?

Why isnt he playing now ... we couldn't work it out.

After getting a playing list, and checking the numebrs I now realise why - #15 is no other than Luke Mcpharlin (whose hair is alot longer than last year)

Damn he looked good - and he trained well along with smokey Mcphee - something to look forward with those 2, thats for sure!

well connolly hasnt seemed to forget him in todays paper it says that troy longmuir is a part of the team in 2004 that will be focused on the youth of the club or something like that
