He has struggled this year w/ the eagles, but shown promise before, I remember him towelling up the lions in '02 to end their streak.

Out of memory, he is low 30's in age and debuted in 2001.

If he nominates for the PSD, I would like to see us take a punt on him.

What do we all think of him?

He drives speedway cars at the moment (and spins them!)

But when he did play for us, he was quite good, his accuracy was a bit silly at times, but he's not as quick as the others.
If Geelong did get him, they'd be starting to build up an ex-eagles forward line!

When it comes to forwards, Troy Wilson is a hack of the highest order. In fact, he makes Brett Spinks look like a half decent footballer.

Geelong would be plain stupid to punt on, let alone even consider, Troy Wilson. The guy will be a short term fix at best. Why would the Cats even consider drafting a washed-up, ageing, complete hack of a player that is Troy Wilson???

I was basing it on the fact we would be paying him practically minium wage..
I'd certainly rather a short fix to nothing being done at all, I can't see our forward line changing too much ( The 2 Davids might do something, but they aren't exactly messiahs either)

phreaky - Naming Brownless & Spinks in the same sentence is criminal. Billy wasn't too grand, but not on the level of Spinks.

He wasn't making the side (played just 5 games) and spent a life-sentence in the WAFL, plus the tall forwards such as McDougall, Lynch and Gaspar stepping up leaves no room for "so-so" players. Thats probably why he was delisted.
