Hi Cat fans, Menschy here.
It was a great win by the boys over the Demons on Saturday. I was sitting in the stands with Gary Ablett Snr, but unfortunately he missed most of the 3rd quarter excitement. He excused himself to go to the snack bar, mumbling something about a 'bad case of the munchies'. A touch ironic i thought, as most of the females in our vicinity had a bad case of the Menschies. It was one of the worst crowds for an Essendon game in a long time on Friday. Was there a Brittany Spears concert in town that i didn't hear about? Very disappointing loss for Hawthorn in Tassie. Most of their members were furious, but they soon cheered up when their owners took them to the park for walkies. I was shocked by the news of Hanse Cronje dying in a plane crash. Apparently his last words before impact were "Geez, what are the odds on this!?". My Nanna is quite upset as Hanse was somewhat of a hero of hers. She says they had a minute of silence in his honor today at the TAB.
A bit sad to see Carlton struggling at the moment. I'm just joking of course, it's pretty farken hilarious actually. I just hope that if they do get the wooden spoon this year they also cop a big smack on the arse with it for good measure. We play the Blues this week for the first regular season game since our infamous meeting in round 22 last year. We are not expecting any trouble from the Carlton supporters this time, as so few of them turn up these days.
