Anybody keen to guess the amount of times we directly kicked or handballed to a Geelong opponent today?
During our wins, particularly Hawthorn, I watched replays and commented that even though we won we turned the ball over a lot, and if we did that against Geelong we'd get killed. Well look what happened.
I think a part of it was that we ware too quick to dispose of the ball. I know you get very little time against the Cats, but plenty of times we played on immediately, and didn't take that tenth of a second to assess the situation and find a teammate. Rushed handballs and 'hail mary' snaps from packs were snapped up and used against us.
