TV problem

Hi all, just after some help.

Just moved into a new flat and setting up the TV and the set top box. The cord from the set top box is connected to the antenna outlet however when I autosearch no channels come up. Does this mean there is a problem with the antenna? I did this at my previous apartment and it all went fine.

From my single anecdotal experience, yes.

Plugged TV into antenna socket. Nothing.

Moved TV to other end of room and plugged into other antenna socket. Auto-tuning found all the channels in no time.

If you are in a a flat, there should be a junction box somewhere where the antennas lead. Try to locate that and see if yours is working/connected. That was the issue I had anyway. Once reconnected had no issues
