I notice you can now watch the races online live via tvn on bigpond sport. is this a new thing or has it been around for a while. does it also have the total TVN schedule or not?

It's been around for a while but they don't show all the meetings just 1 or 2 tracks a day. Unless you watch TVN on foxtel you don't get to watch them all.

TVN shows the main metro tracks (basically the ones they broadcast). I find it better than bigpond coz you can search by horse, but it costs money to watch the form, and they rape you if you put it on youtube.

oh sweet. how does the sky racing deal work with a tab account. is there a certain amount of money that needs to be deposited before i can watch it. anything to save a few bucks aka not get foxtel

i think skyracing is around $85? per year online.. but it doesnt cover vic/nsw metro meetings as there is a contractual issue with tvn, but aslong as you switch between the 2 it isnt bad.
