Considering we may lose Pav and Walters this week to injury.
I got to thinking, who are our two most valuable players right now?
Two players who would dramatically lessen our chances of winning.
I say Fyfe and Sandi. Says a lot about our mix of youth and maturity.
Thoughts?

Might sound crazy but I think Ballantyne and Walters, our midfield is deep and our back line is solid.
The two smalls have had very underwhelming starts to 2015, our "solid wins" turn into thrashing if those two start to fire.

You're right. It sounds crazy.

Right now:
Fyfe and McPharlin only because we have essentially no backup talls that we know can get the job done on the very best (though Dawson isn't far away)

Overall:
Fyfe and Sandi.

Without doubt if I was given a magic wand that protected two players from ever getting injured it would be those two. They are the most important players for us.

fyfe and pav.

our team defence helps out our key back and silva and dawson are adequate replacements.
if super pav goes we have no solid key fwds

Between Fyfe (best mid always hurt, even more when he is close to being the best player in the comp), Sandi (huge factor in our midfield dominance), McPharlin and perhaps Johnson (both tall defender who offer a lot rebounding/offense through the backline) whose importance in our backline should not be underestimated.

When thinking about potential replacement I'd tend to go with the backliners. Dawson and Sivagni offer so much less run. But to have a decent replacement for Sandi we would have to rely on Griffin finding pre injury form at AFL level as well. Fyfe probably most easily covered with the way our midfield is going. Still overall hard to say...

Have to add we have done very well recently to cover any injury.

C.Pearce and D.Pearce.

We only have only have an A.Pearce to come in if C or D go down.

But we still need a B to get the four of a kind..

Seriously cannot wait until Alex starts getting a game which now looks just a matter of time and we have all three in the same team.
Commentators nightmare.

BOT also have to go with Fyfe and McPharlin at present. Sandi is close but I reckon Clarke is getting better all the time with his ruckwork.

agree with fyfe naturally and probably mcpharlin or Johnson.

Ibbo could be a smokey for his role too.

So many. Let's hope we stay fit and healthy

Right now? Luke and Johnno. Period. The end. We don't have anyone available who could realistically play their position.

Silvagni has always tended to come in and do a good job. Dawson and Pearce also acceptable options.

Whilst Sandi hugely important, we have 2013 to show that he isn't be all and end all.

In answer to OP: probably Fyfe and Hill.
Or maybe a trick question: no player is irreplaceable!! :)

The question was right now though.

Silvagni is out for at least 12 weeks.

Dawson is yet to play a game of WAFL let alone a game of AFL this year due to a groin injury.

Tanner Smith has missed the last two weeks with "concussion" plus he's on the rookie list.

That leaves Alex Pearce. Whilst doing a good job for Peel, he's still untried and unproven at AFL level.

Left field answer, the two guys pressing hardest for selection in the magoos each week. Pressure on spots keeps everybody working harder.
