the umpires are as confused on the rules as the rest of us. they are interpriting them as they see it, as they have been directed to by the "Rules Commitee". its this "rules committee" that needs fixing
haveing said that i'm not sticking up for the umpires, as i'll rip into them one way or another this weekend for sure. its only consistancy that we are after folks. thats the part we rip into the umpires for. they just aren't consistant. never willl be.
