I cannot Understand why there is a need to have Neutral Umpires in An Ashes Series or against South Africa or The West Indies or India .
My reasoning is that the umpires can be from both Countries.
Australia has 3 world Class Umpires Daryl Harper, Simon Taufel and Darrell Hair
So does England in Peter Willey and David Shepherd
South Africa has Rudi Koertzen and Dave Orchard ( im putting his mistakes down to spending too much time with the Tiffmister)
India has Venkat and Arani Jayaprakash.
Steve Bucknor from the Windies also.
Before Neutral Umpires I would have tried umpires from competing nations.
What do others think ?
