top 3 looks fairly set at the moment with fitzroy, de la and xavs. 4th position looks to be between bernards and westbourne, with other teams yet to prove much. however still early days. the player to watch in this division is the cashman from old xavs. great skills, great brain, great player.

how can the top 3 look fairly set??? you have failed to mentionemmaus st leos who knocked of de la pretty convincingly on the weekend!!!!! they are my hot tip to watch!!!! only jus lost to xavs and fitzroy and with the team still jus getting to know each other they have a lot of improvement to come!!!! i think the animals may take the flag!!!!
players to watch from the animals.... a prolific ball winner in ed jones, uses it well, hard at it, in and under, class player!!! richard lugg has moved into the backline and looks very strong!!!!! this side is chock a block full of talent and i would just watch out!!!!
you rate emmaus as a big chance to win the flag? sure, they beat de la on the weekend, but you have to remember that de la (like xavs, bernards and rupo) are a 2nds team, so their form will generally change frm week to week. i assume that de la are a lot like xavs, in which a week with no injuries means the 2nd team will be extremely hard to stop however say there are 5 injuries, the 2nd team is extremely depleted. heard de la had a few injuries in their 1s on the weekend, however your right, they got smashed. shouldnt have discounted them. all teams are still getting to know each other, its just just emmaus so their early season performances are read into the same as every other team.
