Worst Kits

Australia national team

"Just about EVERY socceroo kit ever worn by any socceroo squad has been disgusting. The Brasilians can make green and yellow look acceptable, but we have real trouble... (though i note we DID beat England in the strip recently, in England, 1-3!! and against a full strength squad!!)

But we still looked awful doing it...."

Gee, Australia have looked like crap whenever they have played a match, I can't see that you will get many votes here. ;)

I thought the Blue and Black "away strip" looked great as did the Olympic strip in 2000. Recent ones haven't been too bad at all, although I still shudder at the dogs vomit strip of the early 90's.

[edit]And what a great job the kit designers did in South Africa 2002 ... if only. :( [/edit]

I'd like to know why in recent times they've decided to change the home kit to green? How many other countries would change the colour of their home Football shirt? Not very many I'd reckon. I reckon we should go back to and stick with the traditional gold shirts with green trim, green shorts and white socks. I think that kit looks great meself.

During the 2000 Olympics, alot of the Oz merchandise was navy blue and gold.

I've noticed the swimmnug team have been wearing blue and gold as their clours for awhile now, as do the IR team.

The socceroo away (blue and gold) looks great, but the home shirt is awful.
