Uni Games!

hey everyone!

has anybody experienced uni games on here?

im keen on competing this year up on the gold coast and heard it was a bit of fun.

just want to know what it is really like....

I did it last year in Melbourne. It's a bit different when it's in your home city because you don't experience being with your team mates 24-7. Either way it's awesome fun and drink up

went in adelaide in 2006. was an absolute cracker of a week and i can only imagine the gold coast would be far far better than adelaide.

Do you have to be decent at a sport to be able to go?

Well at the uni I go to they have trials and everything so I'd expect that you do have to be pretty good to get in.

Although going would be great..

i went as manager. i could've played footy or squash or whatever but i didn't want anything at all to get in the way of drinking. not that much will if you want to play a sport anyway.

Always regret not going. Got picked for the Deakin footy team in my first year, paid the deposit, but because I was 17 when I started uni I thought I couldn't get up to much, plus I had a girlfriend back home in high school so couldn't root around.

The next year I'd broken up with the girl, turned 18...then did my knee. Still wish I could've played.
