In my opinion there is no better feeling in DT than the feeling you get when one of your uniques scores a huge 100. I know that this feeling is one of the reasons why I play this game year after year after year, and it is often this feeling that keeps me going when my team is sliding down the rankings.

As such, I consider Nick Riewoldt's 153 in round 5, Ryan O'Keefe's monster 14 tackle 136 point effort & Leigh Montagna's 126 on debut - which propelled me to a 6 point eliminator win in round 9 - as the greatest success stories of my DT year so far.

So if you'd like to brag about your prized unique player/s this is the thread to do so! Lets see if we can give the Ibbotson's, Duffield's, Malceski's, Hibberd's, Griffen's, Barlow's, Cornes's, Jack's, Minson's, Lewis's & Stokes's of this world more recognition, the way they have been scoring this season they certainly deserve it.

According to the generally accepted '<10% ownership rule' my unique players are:

N.Riewoldt - Owned by 9.36% of teams and averaging 104.2 ppw
Scotland - Owned by 8.56% of teams and averaging 78.62 ppw
O'Keefe - Owned by 2.28% of teams and averaging 95.60 ppw
Montagna - Owned by 1.81% of teams and averaging 105.11 ppw

I left Moller off this list since he is not in my best 22 and also Nicholls since his 0.96% ownership will likely increase to well over 10% in the next couple weeks.

So what unique players do you own and who are you hoping to trade in?

Just Scooter for me. Traded in Jack this week who is surprisingly only owned by 5%.

Don't really have any uniques - Stokes is about as unique as it gets.

My next 3 upgrades are unique-ish I guess - Barlow, Jack and Harvey

Part of my success this year has been due to picking some good unique players from the start, and also trading them in. In brackets are when I got them in:

Michael Hibberd (Round 1) - 7.67% of teams. Has averaged 94 so far this year. Been an awesome pickup for me as many were scared away by the fact that almost everyone went into Round 1 with both Goddard and Heppell.

Nick Malceski (Round 11) - 3.98% of teams. Just traded him in this week. Great unique premium who is averaging around 85 for the year. Could very well see his output getting around 90 at years end with the Swans continuing to improve week by week.

Brandon Ellis (Round 7) - 3.88% of teams. Picked him up after back to back 80's and he went bang with two 125+ in the next 2. Disappointing that he got injured, but should be back next week for me.

Scott Selwood (Round 1) - 5.26% of teams. Was my pick for the mids this year to hit that true premium status and he has not disappointed thus far. When he tags his scoring goes to crap, but he can average 120+ when he doesn't.

Michael Barlow (Round 10) - 6.85% of teams. Grabbed him last week for Moloney who went onto get injured obviously. Very happy to pick him up as I believe he can continue his output of 110. Will surely be more popular in the coming rounds.

Luke Hodge (Round 8) - 9.67% of teams. Picked him over Priddis that round, big mistake. Holding faith with him for now to bounce back after a week off.

Jordan Lewis (Round 1)- 6.01% of teams. One of my favourite picks off the start. Was never really considered by most people, but his average has been consistently around 90 for the last 6 years or so. With not too many forward premiums catching my eye in preseason, Lewis was a safe pick that has payed off nicely.

Stants and Jack from the start, also had Embley which didn't pay off. Would've thought Jones was relatively unique for a round 1 rookie as well which helped a little.

Brought Ellis in when he hit his lowest price fro the year. Went Hodge over Priddis and Vlas in that round which I am greatly regretting.
