Pav has had 3 fantastic games at home and 1 pretty good one away. I understand what you're saying about physicality, but other than Jonathon Brown not many footballers under 25 are enforcers. Nick Riewoldt is regarded by many as the best player in the competition but I don't think many opposition players fear his aggression.

I personally think Pavlich shoulda gone back to SA instead of staying at fremantle...he woulda got payed more an had more of a chance of winning a premiership then he does at freo..sorry 2 say guys...wasted career if he stays at freo...GO BACK HOME PAV!!!

Well he is a proven half back/full back player being named AA back there a couple of years ago. He doesnt need to prove anything in the backline, give him time to prove himself up forward, Rome wasn't built in a day

We have guys that don't mind the physical stuff- Webster, the Carrs, Cook, Farmer, and Grover on the weekend- but none of them are key position players. That will come as our big guys fill out and get more experience. I can't recall Barry Hall and Fraser Gehrig being enforcers in their early 20's.

No not at all. Pav has been playing like that in all the games except the richmond game. That was the only game of ours that Walls had seen and made his rather stupid assessment on that game only.

You have to be joking....I've usually been pretty positive about the club...until rounds 2 and 3 this year. It's proved to me that Connolly simply can't coach. I was prepared to wait it out after last years debacle, hoping that the problems would be fixed, but they remain as obvious as ever. We are just too soft. Look at last week, we still got murdered in the clearances, and if it wasn't for Cookie we probably would have lost, or gone pretty close to it. It's just that the talent is there to beat the crap sides, we just don't have the coach to take us to the next level.

Jeez I hope i'm wrong, cos i've sat through every season with the hope that one year will be our year. But it's hard to be optimistic about something you've seen so many times before.
