Surely Australia imports cranberries :confused:

I don't think Australia is the ideal climate for cranberries (cultivation) ... but i think they are imported.

Good luck with your search ... just don't make and 'sbaglia' with this chick ... i feel your pain!! :)

Hey Sandie,

Nope but apparently there are these things called muntries, which are also called native cranberries.... I was thinking it would be an appropriate substitute for her, add an Australian slant on an American tradtion.

I rang a specialist fruit shop, and they didn't have any..... I don't think I'll have them by this Friday. :(

hmm.. i remember reading that aust doesnt actually import cranberries...
the stuff we get are in a concentrate, from stuff processed o/s...

anyway.. thanks for reminding me of those brilliant ads from Sunraysia...

my friend in hongkong even saw that ad during the ads before a movie at the cinema over there!! hahahaha.. i wonder what they think of bran presser and his granny..haha..
