Vale Brian Bennett

This may not be of much interest for the younger people out there, but 5AA's Brian Bennett unfortunately died in his sleep on Sunday Morning

He was the overnight guy on AA, and he quite often filled in for Bob Francis when he was unable to broadcast.

He was a nice genuine fella

Never a star but a good natured late night talk back host who would always let the nutters have more than a fair chance to have their say.

I always marvelled at his patience and tolerance.

Yeah Brian was a very nice guy. I didn't really listen to him much as he always attracted listeners that talked about nostalgia but he always seems to be the nicest guy and always let listeners have their say on every topic.
