I didn't mind colour and shape as well. Maybe a couple of tracks from their third were ok.

Did a lot of soundgarden and chris last night.
Aside from being one of the best looking roosters on the planet and a voice that is close to peerless in the rock realm,he had such dynamic,sensitive and classic sense of melody and song structure.
That version of him acoustically doing 'black hole sun' is mind bendingly epic.
Dude,why?,it's really hit home,powerful people are ****ed up as well!!:(

The guy in charge of the music for Ch7's footy coverage is switched on, one of the few things they get right.

Family have questioned the coroners findings. He had been taking medication and apparently took a couple more than usual and was slurring his words after the show. The same medication has been proven to cause dilusions and other side effects. They are waiting on the toxicology reports now. May have been a contributing factor.
 
The whole thing is very sad. You just never know what's going on inside someones head even when from all appearances they look very successful over a long period of time. I count myself lucky enough to have been young at the time grunge broke out - with Chris Cornell's unique voice and Soundgarden a very big part of the whole era. Cornell kept on releasing quality music with his solo stuff and Audioslave. A unique voice of a unique era.
