It is with great sadness that I notify the Tiger Big Footy community of the passing of one of our members; Tigertaskforce
I recall going to games with Andrew (his Christian name) and my brothers back in the late 70s and early 80s, before he moved to the country, it was always a great day watching the Tigers as we usually won.
In the latter years we drifted apart, due to his move and not having his address (no social media in those days) and caught up via facebook where we went to a few games together this season and enjoyed the wins but usually vented due to losses.
His health was not great he had medical issues that impacted him, like back problems, arthritis etc but also family health issues that have impacted his family.
As a person who knew Andrew for 50 years, it is with deep sorrow and regret I inform our community of his passing (Sunday).
He was always one of the loudest, proudest and most passionate fans who travelled to every home game from country Victoria
I offer my sincere condolences to his children, family, extended family and friends, a great man gone way too soon.
