thought it was very clever of adam pattinson to throw the ball at richo's head after the guy hass had a fractured eye socket.wish the bloke showed as much passion on game day.what an idiot

get over it.... they muck about like that all the time. Apparently richo laughed it off afterwards.

Luke mcguane was beaten up by stafford in the boxing ring... they get over it and continue footy life.....
 
heard they may have had a laugh about it afterwards so might have been a bit harsh but richo has had a fractured eye socket so could have shown his anger some other way.

yeah and if the eye socket was damaged because ot it, then TW and the whole gang would have been joining in and rolling on the ground laughing too.
Seeing as the way things are panning out, Richo could have both his legs in traction, both his arms in traction and lying on a bed, and when the tigers ran out for the next game, you would a few players, rolling the bed out of the race and placing it at CHF. With Pettifer as the designated bed pusher, when Richo wants the bed to be pushed onto a long lead.
Its the same kind of laughs they had when 1. AK had one of those laughable accidents while surfing and 2. Cogga had that slapstick laugh a minute accident in the bath. The whole place was pissing themselves laughing. The lucky thing for Cogga is that Spud wasnt still the coach, hey Gas? ;)

dude, give you the tip, both Richo and Patto are about as sharp as 2 bowling balls. Does that kind of suggest how sharp you are? ;)

are you serious!!!!!!! this just show's exactly what type of complete football illiterate people we have here. Half of you must surely have never played footy before because this sort of shit happens at training every session. Get a life guys cos it was the boys mucking around.

so dip stick, how about illuminating us on how many training sessions out of the "every training sessions" that you suggest, has there been a player present that was recovering from cracked eye socket?
You are really that dippy arent you? you really cant see the difference between a dude throwing a footy at a guy with a cracked eye socket and someone throwing a bucket of water over someone in the changing rooms.
Like it wasnt a nerf ball, it was a footy, have you ever been hit in the head by a footy? If you havent have someone throw one at your head. Then think about if you also had a cracked eye socket and the ball hit the mark.
I can hear the laughter from here, can you? ;)

yeah shit they really hurt. ffs! last time i checked a footy wasnt quite as hard as a bowling ball. if it is that bad then why is he playing or training. you must be weak as piss if this is what you honestly think. everyone else was laughing so it wasnt that serious. do you have kids cos **** if you do i pitty them if they play sport or even breath the way you are over reacting.

i have played football before and know all abiut the mucking around that goes on.i was trying to illustrate the point that only three weeks previous richo had a fractured eye socket and throwing a footy wasn't the smartest thing to do by adam.
i would like to have seen your reaction if it had of hit richo in the eye causing further damage.
p.s i did concede that richo laughed about it later.i admit it's good to see the players in good spirits after not winning a game
 
Richo himself is placing himself in that risk. In a match a defender can attempt to spoil, hitting the players hand and the ball is likely to knock the player in the head.

Tell me a game where a player doesn't get a decent tap to the head..? (besides tivendale)

If he's out there playing, then there is no issue. get over it FFS.. :cool:
 
Saw the incident tonight on TV.

Unnecessaraily extended sling tackle from Richo.

Patto threw the ball in retaliation and copped Richo fair on the beak - he bled from the nose and was pretty wobbly afterwards.

Pretty standard push and shove stuff at training and an unfortunate outcome, but nothing much in it. Both are good sports and I'm sure they're already over it.
