Hello there, as you may have seen in an earlier thread, I'm keen to get a VGA to RCA to plug my monitor of my PC to my TV. Now my TV's RCA ends are red white yellow, but in this item listed in the site, the RCA ends are Red, Blue, and Grey?:S will that still work? if so should i just purchase it or is there anything else i need to know before i buy it

Thats a component cable. I`m not sure what the input on your tele is but if it`s red white and yellow then it is most likely AV which is a different animal.

Component is all video (primary colors) whereas AV is audio and video. Also - your vga out must be able to support component conversion.

ye it is Av. so how do i check if my tv supports component?

cp28wf1, it's a Sanyo brand TV

Just looked over the manual. You're out of luck mate. Only AV in.

You can buy graphics cards that do straight video out.
