I'm looking for an application that will simultaneously record whatever is coming out of the video and audio cards. e.g if you're watching a movie on your PC and you want to record what you are watching.
I have a video on an external hard drive that is encrypted and will only work on the first PC it is played on. Apparently the technology is such that the external hard drive "learns" the ID/addresses of the components on the PC it is played on and then can only be played while connected to that PC thereafter. So I'm trying to find a way that will record the video & audio on the PC where I am playing the file so that I can watch it on an internal hard disk instead of having to watch it via the external hard drive. I've never come across this sort of encryption before but it's become a problem for me (sometimes being too secure can be counter productive).
Thanks.
