has anyone else become victim to this virus??

above link is not the virus, but a page i found on instructions to get rid of it.

anyone able to give me a few clearer instructions??

the biggest problem i'm having is that on my desktop computer (on laptop now) i can't even get past the XP log in screen. i click on my icon and it comes up "loading your personal settings" and then will not progress any further....

any help would be appreciated because this is not fun.....

Have you tried firing up in safe mode?

yeah i've eventually got into safe mode. it took me ages to be able to get there....

so far battling away. things are starting to look up though.... it's a nasty ****ing virus i'll tell ya.

Seems to be spyware more than a virus as it doesn't do any real damage, so that's one positive. Stick to the steps and you'll get there.

ooooo man this is getting painful now.

everytime i think it's gone, it comes back. right now my computer is taking about 10-15 minutes to boot up each time.....

but very slowly, very very very slowly, am i getting on top...
