vocal removers??

Does anyone know where i can download vocal removers for tracks on an Audio CD. i.e remove all singing, leaving music only?

Im pretty sure it cant be done with mp3s, can someone confirm this for me?

Any input would be great, thanx for your help.

It can't be done effectively, unless you already have a split track CD - in which case you wouldn't need to do what you want to do.

Never going to be much good - best hope you've got is a bandpass filter, and that's going to get rid of some of your music and leave a bit of your vocals.

MP3 shouldn't have any specific problems - same issue as everything else.

Unless, of course, you've got a track with two bass players and a soprano vocalist, in which case it should be quite easy.

The guys on CSI have no trouble isolating and removing different sounds from the most obscure sound sources. Anyone know what software they're using
