I think the Soccer World Cup Qualifier - Australia v Uruguay 2005 is overated, 31 other nations also managed to qualify for the world cup, and the game was decided by a penalty shoot-out Stiil a grat day in Aus Sport

Ye jest Phil, surely mate? The 2003 series (game 1 in particular) was an absolute ripper. Relitively new to the sport, or just didn't know about?

It's true, Hicham. I've never associated the 'Ashes' to a Rugby League rivalry - just the cricketing rivalry.

The whole series was awesome, every game the poms lead with 2 minutes to go, but they lost at the death.


I can't understand some of the Rl fans who have no idea about the history of RL, either they are new to the game, which is understandable, or they just don't care and only follow their club and listen continually to the BS the Rah rah media put out.
