Priddis doing what he usually does, except Kerr/Gaff/Rosa couldn't save him this time because two were closely checked and one wasn't playing.

HM: Brennan, Mcginnity.
DM: Embley, Priddis, Strijk, A Selwood.

Embley was completely out of touch, fumbly and blind kicking that was very poor.
Priddis just didnt really create, blind kicking and absolutely butchered going the other way. If there were two free hawks mids running away from the contest you could guarantee that one was getting away from priddis.
Strijk offered absolutely nothing, won't get the chance to get back up to afl pace and while a decent footballer should be delisted.
A Selwood was a butcher, got beaten particularly during the clearance situations and TBH would happily see him traded or better still depth only.

Brennan showed in 1 quarter why he will make it, he's fast, hard at the ball and the man and just doesn't give up.
Mcginnity while i dont think he's afl quality makes the best of what he's got, did well in tight, kicked two goals and set an example for hardness. Was also good to see him handing the ball off as much as possible. Long term though his kicking and inability to read the play are a liability.

Lastly was good to see we never gave up even though we were never in the game.

What has happened to Shuey's disposal? Was so good last year, was hitting targets reliably left and right foot, now struggles to find a target.

Darling wasn't even mentioned in the Radios best players. Not even during the game did they talk him up. He's only 20!
Scooter and Masten got the most credit as far as the eagles go.

Funny, coming onto this thread i imagined scooter would be getting 5 votes, but it's all Darls love.

The radio also mentioned how crap schofield was until he kicked his 2 goals. Only had 2 touches to half time or something? God the radio broadcasters are shit. Worst opinions ever.
