5. NN - don't know how you can pick anyone else here, really
4. Gaff - the difference in the middle
3. Yeo - SO good to see him back in the middle, he didn't destroy or anything but certainly contributed
2. Gov - Really could be higher than here, just so solid down back.
1. Ellis - quality disposal all night, love this kid

HMs: Sheed, Priddis

5. Naitanui - Scintillating form.
4. Gaff - AA here I come bitches.
3. Yeo - Take my midfield minutes again Scooter and ill slap you.
2. Priddis - Did his thing. 9 tackles.
1. McGovern - Huge effort for a young player to get up and still influence the game as much as he did.

HM's
Ellis - 2nd game back and has more skill and awearness than 10 Scott Selwoods.
Darling - Ninga flip on the boundry made it on thhe highlight reel.
Shep - The love grows.

Everyone else played there part.
Selwoods part is to hit the stat sheet hard as this is what the AFL bases compo picks on.

+1

5 NN
4 McGovern - Seriously underrated despite all the credit he's starting to get. Always taking marks, reads the ball so well, is incredibly creative, has great vision, is an incredible kick for his size.
3 Gaff
2 Yeo
1 Ellis

5 - NicNat
4 - Gaff
3 - Yeo
2 - McGovern
1 - Ellis

HM: Darling, Kennedy, LeCras, Priddis, Schofield, Sheed

DM: Selwood.

5. Naitanui - absolutely huge last night. Ran out of steam in the last, but so did almost everyone else.
4. Gaff - great decision-making, amazing ability to find space and outrun his opponents. Is in career best form this season.
3. McGovern - McGovern.
2. Yeo - like Darling, knows when and how to impose himself on the game and win through sheer force of will.
1. Hill - controversial choice but I thought he was immense defensively up forward (lolwut).

HM: Priddis, LeCras, Sheppard, Ellis, Kennedy, Schofield
DM: Selwood, Rosa's kicking

Almost forgot the real MVP of last night. Got an absolute work over all evening and will likely not get any rest over the weekend either.

Double this for me. Nik Nat and Gaff clear top 2.
Thought Sheed was terrific and unlucky not to be amongst the votes. Very promising from him.
The game was a real highlight reel ... Yeo's hanger, Nik Nat's sublime ruckwork .. Schoey's run and pass to JD..plenty of good stuff. Massive win!

Did Scooter tag anyone? He was terrible with the ball.. if he disposed at over 30% id be surprised. Obvious is back too early..

I saw him on Cotchin at times, but that was more stoppage matchup rather than a hard tag. He went around 66% with the ball, but I'd say most of his effective disposals were short kicks and handballs. He was terrible by foot last night.

Was a pretty even team performance so outside of naitanui and gaff I found it hard to separate 3 players from a group of about 10 who had worthy games. This was our most pleading win of the year so far

5 - naitanui - clear difference between the two teams and the most influential player on the ground
4 - gaff - just keeps getting the footy and is running as hard at the start as he is at the end
3 - Sheppard - is essentially playing as our 3rd tall and is rarely being beaten. Gives us run and ran disposal off HB. Been a revelation this season
2 - hurn - great captains game from the armadillo. Really strong at the contest and in congestion
1 - McGovern - intercept making at jack watts round 9-13 2011 levels. Such a good reader of the ball in the air. Would have been higher but for some uncharacteristically disposal errors and a couple of ground ball fumbles

HM - Ellis, schofield, Wellingham, priddis, left as, Masten and shuey

Darling and JK both could've / should've had 4-5 goals each rather than 2-3 which would've seen them in the votes.

Our defensive effort was outstanding which is why I picked 3 defenders for the minor votes.
